Everything froze. Including the Digs.
Planet Freeze is a Realm run entirely by the tilt of the Earth and the angle of the light. Something has thrown that out of balance, six Gemlings are stuck in the wrong season, and every Dig is frozen shut and empty.
Put each part of the Realm back in order and collect the Dig you find there. Then track down the real specimens, scratch off the labels, load the Digs, and match every Gemling to its stone.
What's in the pouch
- Six Digs — one-inch clamshells with the specimen name hidden under a scratch-off
- Six real specimens — rocks, minerals and fossils, in a six-compartment tray
- Six 3D-printed Gemlings, sealed in a blind bag
- Six trading cards, one for each Gemling
- The Planet Freeze map, carrying the Realm's hero Gemling
- Dig stick, wet wipe, canvas bag, logo sticker
Three are common. One isn't.
Every set of six breaks down the same way — three standard, one silk, one metallic, one that glows green in the dark. Which finishes land in your bag is the part nobody controls.
Sets get completed by trading, not by buying more. That's deliberate.
When the digging is done
Planet Freeze connects to free online adventures on the seasons, weather versus climate, and the Earth's revolution around the Sun. No student logins. No accounts to set up. No cost, permanently.
Play them and you earn Specimen Cards. Six cards unlock the Realm's finale.
The practical bit
- Written for grades 3–5
- One kit, one child
- Everything needed is in the pouch — the dig stick and wipe are included
- Free U.S. shipping on orders over $25
Seasons aren't caused by being closer to the Sun. Most adults get this wrong too.
