Are the online adventures really free?
Yes. All 36 elementary science Online Adventures are free. No purchase, kit or student account is required. Choose an Adventure.
Which topics can we explore?
Explore Earth Science, Life Science and Physical Science, from rocks, weather and space to ecosystems, the human body, chemistry and forces. See all 36 topics.
How do students move through an adventure?
Start at the first stage and answer the science challenges. Each completed stage opens the next. Feedback and retries help students apply what they learned.
Will our progress be saved?
Progress is saved in this browser when browser storage is available. It does not transfer between devices. On a shared device, use New Explorer / Reset before the next student begins. If storage is blocked, keep the page open to retain progress for that session.
Can we use keyboard controls or play seated?
Yes. Use Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to activate buttons. The Online Adventures can be completed seated.
Where are the teacher resources?
Browse free elementary science resources by science area, topic and resource type. New published resources appear automatically.
What happens after stage six?
Students complete the science challenges and defeat or drive off the Grumbly. The free online mission is complete. An optional Dig Kit continues the hands-on mission: 01 DISCOVER, 02 IDENTIFY, 03 COLLECT. Online completion does not award physical specimens or Gemlings.
Can I get Free Dig Kits for my classroom or grade level?
Teachers can start a Free Dig Kit campaign now. Kits follow full funding and school confirmation. Funding is not guaranteed. Start your classroom kit campaign. Visiting that page does not reserve or allocate kits.
Does a PTA/PTO introduction automatically earn a free kit?
No. PTA/PTO support belongs within the planned classroom campaign program. An introduction or contact message does not create a campaign, reserve a kit or trigger shipping.
When should students open a physical kit?
Follow the kit instructions and your supervising adult. Use the six-part dig as one culminating experience or spread discoveries across up to six science subjects. Online learning remains free without a kit.
Where can I find product details or help with an existing order?

Is the Complete Rocks & Minerals page a downloadable bundle?
It is the learning pathway connecting all six topics. Use the resource library for individual published resources and their availability. The pathway is not a promise that every planned download is available.
