Are the online Adventures really free?
Yes. Teachers, families, and homeschool groups can use the available online Adventures and supporting resources without buying a physical kit.
What is the current Adventure launch structure?
The current public launch structure is six Main Geology Adventures, each supported by six Core Lesson pages. That creates 36 Core Lesson Adventures under a focused elementary geology umbrella.
Do I need a physical kit to teach the lessons?
No. The free lesson pages should work as standalone teacher resources. Kits and Class Packs add the tactile excavation experience when a teacher, family, or school wants it.
What are Adventure Kits?
Adventure Kits are individual hands-on discovery products for kids, families, homeschool lessons, gifts, and small groups. Shopify collections and product pages remain the source for current products, prices, and availability.
What are Class Packs?
Class Packs are classroom or group purchases designed so every participating student can have a hands-on excavation experience. Pricing and checkout stay on the native Shopify product page.
Where can I see current Class Pack pricing?
Use the Class Packs page for the current classroom pricing section, then continue to the Shopify product page for final product details, taxes, shipping, discounts, and checkout.
What is the In-School Adventure?
The In-School Adventure is a larger event-style experience for schools, grade levels, clubs, or organizations that want a coordinated hands-on science activity on site.
Can PTA/PTO groups help fund Excavating Adventures?
Yes. The PTA/PTO page includes a ready-to-send teacher introduction email so the teacher can connect the funding contact with Excavating Adventures and let us handle the details.
Does sending the PTA/PTO email automatically create a free kit?
No. The free-kit path is tied to a qualifying PTA/PTO-supported purchase through the program. The email is the introduction step, not an automatic fulfillment request.
Is Base Camp open now?
Base Camp is the long-term destination concept, not the current launch dependency. The current focus is the website, free geology lessons, kits, Class Packs, and in-school discovery.
How does the affiliate program work?
Affiliates apply through BixGrow. Approved affiliates receive a personal tracking link and can earn commission on qualifying sales referred to Excavating Adventures.
