Young explorers enter a massive wilderness filled with towering mountains, deep valleys, winding rivers, giant canyons, mysterious caves, islands, plains, and roaring waterfalls.

But the Grumblins have scattered the Gemlets across the landscape and blocked the expedition routes.

To rescue them, kids must follow the world map, choose their route, solve terrain challenges, search for clues, capture the Grumblins, and uncover real rocks, minerals, and fossils inside their Mystery Dig.

Every mission leads through a new environment and moves them closer to defeating the final Grumblie and rescuing all ten Gemlets.

Along the way, kids identify landforms, compare landscapes, investigate how they form, and explore how water, wind, ice, and Earth’s internal forces shape the world.

The journey ends only when the final Grumblie is defeated and every Gemlet has returned from the wild.
