The Grumblins have used the chaos to hide the Gemlets throughout the canyon. To rescue them, kids must follow the trail map, choose safe routes, solve challenges, investigate changing landforms, capture the Grumblins, and excavate real rocks, minerals, and fossils from their Mystery Dig.

Every mission helps them understand what is breaking the rocks apart, what is carrying the pieces away, and how the canyon continues to change.
