- REMOVE AND SET ASIDE ALL CONTENTS FROM BOX AND EMPTY THE DRAWSTRING BAG
- REMOVE THE LID FROM THE CANISTER AND SET THE CANISTER IN A TRAY OR PAN
- POUR THE TEST TUBE OF SODIUM BICARBONATE (BAKING SODA) AND CITRIC ACID INTO THE CANISTER.
- FILL THE TEST TUBE WITH WATER, POUR INTO THE CANISTER, AND VERY QUICKLY AND SECURELY SNAP THE LID BACK ONTO THE CANISTER.
- VERY QUICKLY PLACE THE CANISTER ON ITS LID IN THE TRAY
- STEP BACK AND WAIT SEVERAL SECONDS
- ONCE THE CANISTER HAS POPPED, DISCOVER AND REMOVE THE SPECIMENS
- CLEAN SPECIMENS WITH PICK AND BRUSH TOOL
- RINSE SPECIMENS WITH WATER AND POLISH SPECIMENS WITH MOIST TOWELETTE
- MATCH TRADING CARD WITH SPECIMEN (STORE IN BINDER SHEET IF INCLUDED)
- ARRANGE SPECIMENS ON SPECIMEN DISPLAY CARD
- STICK ON KIT NAME AND SPECIMEN LABELS
- USE GLUE DOTS TO STICK SPECIMENS TO BLACK DOT THAT CORRESPONDS WITH SPECIMEN LABEL
- PUT CLEAR LID ON BOX TO COMPLETE SPECIMEN DISPLAY
