Shadow Sync at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
Eclipses Adventure Pack
On the flight deck of the Intrepid, something unusual is blocking the light.
Orbit models are misaligned. Shadow paths are overlapping incorrectly. Solar and lunar eclipse data are out of sync across the system. Ari Raider has detected a disruption in the alignment sequence, and if the shadow model is not corrected, the timing of eclipses could be thrown off entirely.
In Shadow Sync at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, students board the Deck Launch Glider and enter a high-stakes space science mission. By exploring how the Sun, Earth, and Moon align, how shadows create different types of eclipses, and why safety matters when observing the Sun, explorers must restore the orbital sequence and synchronize the shadow system.
This adventure blends astronomy, light science, and spatial reasoning with story-driven exploration.
