Young explorers arrive at a prehistoric research camp where the Grumblins have caused complete chaos. Fossil sites have been disturbed, dinosaur clues have disappeared, and the Gemlets are missing throughout the Jurassic wilderness.

To rescue them, kids must follow the expedition map, make choices, solve challenges, search fossil sites, capture the Grumblins, and uncover real rocks, minerals, and fossils buried inside their Mystery Dig.

Every completed mission moves them closer to defeating the powerful Grumblie and rescuing all ten missing Gemlets.

Along the way, kids investigate fossils, compare prehistoric evidence, learn how paleontologists study the past, and discover what fossils can tell us about ancient life.

Inside the Mystery Dig are six genuine specimens waiting to be excavated.

Kids dig, discover, examine, compare, and identify their finds as part of the prehistoric mission. Their specimens become evidence that helps them investigate ancient environments and understand how fossils form.

Capture the Grumblins. Rescue the Gemlets.

The Grumblins have scattered the Gemlets throughout the prehistoric wilderness.

Kids must explore fossil beds, investigate clues, complete challenges, and capture the Grumblins one by one. Each rescued Gemlet becomes a collectible game piece that can be used with the included cards and game.

The expedition is not complete until every Gemlet has been rescued and the final Grumblie has been defeated.
