How the experience unfolds

1. Train with available subject resources, then open the free online adventure.
2. Place Squishling at START on the map. Follow the online journey through four sub-settings and move your hero as you go.
3. Complete FINAL to reveal the Grumbleys’ hidden cache in the story.
4. 01 DISCOVER: excavate the six specimens with the included dig stick.
5. 02 IDENTIFY: examine the six two-sided specimen and Gemling cards alongside your discoveries.
6. 03 COLLECT: open the single Collect blind bag to reveal five mystery Gemlings.

Choose Cells Excavation Adventure from Free Adventures. Follow the on-screen directions and select the digital-only or kit instructions for your experience. The online adventure is free to complete without buying a kit, entering an email address or using a printed map. Kit owners add the physical dig after FINAL.

Cell learning happens in the online adventure. A microscope is not included. Squishling is a rigid PLA figure, despite the playful name.

Part of our Life Science collection, this kit pairs subject learning with a discovery dig. The dig’s specimen assortment is separate from the adventure subject and Gemling story.
